Sinus is a sack or cavity in any organ or tissue or an abnormal cavity or passage caused by the destruction of tissue. In common usage, “sinus” usually refers to the paranasal sinuses, which are air cavities in the cranial bones, especially those near the nose and connecting to it. Each individual has four paired cavities located in the cranial bone or skull. These cavities are vital for a number of reasons.

If one or more of the paired paranasal sinuses or air cavities become inflamed, it leads to an infection called sinusitis. This inflammation causes an increase in internal pressure within these areas. The pressure is often experienced in the cheek area, eyes, nose, on one side of the head (temple areas), and can result in a severe headache. (Wikipedia)

A person with a sinus infection often has nasal congestion with thick nasal secretions, fever, and cough. Patients can be treated by “reducing the swelling or inflammation in the nasal passages and sinuses, eliminating the infection, promoting drainage from the sinuses, and maintaining open sinuses”. Sinusitis can be treated with medications and can also be eliminated by surgery. (Wikipedia)

Normally, the sinus gets cured easily by operation. The horoscope below is of an individual whose case became worse after operation leading to many successive operations and huge financial outgo.

How can the native be healed?

Jupiter the Lagna lord aspects the ninth house and natal Moon. This aspect is imparting strong protection in the horoscope. Technically, it can be referred to as Guru Kripa or divine grace. If in addition to medical advice, the native resorts to spiritual healing, the cure will be faster.

Spiritual healing can be suggested for the native:

a) To enhance the Guru Kripa the native should worship Samarth Sadguru Shri Sai Nath of Shirdi. Reading of Shri Sai Satcharita is a simple way to increase Guru Kripa. The native can also pray to Sadgurus as per one’s faith. Reciting mantra of Guru like “Shri Gurudev Datta” can have miraculous healing for “Pitra Dosha”.

b) Moon can be strengthened by the worship of divine mother as per one’s faith. Hindus can worship Maa Durga. Sewa to one’s own mother is also an effective remedy.

c) Use of holy water or holy ash is very effective for spiritual problems of any kind. Sai devotees can use Sai Udi or Sai Vibhuti for such healing. Mixing a little Udi or Vibhuti in water makes effective holy water that can be used for any spiritual cure.

d) Apart from this, for permanent relief, Shraddha or last rites for deceased ancestors should be carried out. There are provisions for such Shraddha at Gaya, Nasik, Haridwar etc.
