Minor Sinus Gets Complicated by Ancestral Problems
Sinus is a sack or cavity in any organ or tissue or an abnormal cavity or passage caused by the destruction of tissue. In common usage, “sinus” usually refers to the paranasal sinuses, which are air cavities in the cranial bones, especially those near the nose and connecting to it. Each individual has four paired cavities located in the cranial bone or skull. These cavities are vital for a number of reasons.
If one or more of the paired paranasal sinuses or air cavities become inflamed, it leads to an infection called sinusitis. This inflammation causes an increase in internal pressure within these areas. A person with a sinus infection often has nasal congestion with thick nasal secretions, fever, and cough. Patients can be treated by “reducing the swelling or inflammation in the nasal passages and sinuses, eliminating the infection, promoting drainage from the sinuses, and maintaining open sinuses”. Normally, the sinus gets cured easily by operation. The horoscope below is of an individual whose case became worse after operation leading to many successive operations and huge financial outgo.
The nose is seen from the second house in the horoscope. In the horoscope under consideration, the second lord happens to be Saturn. Mars afflicts Saturn. Mars also afflicts the second house by aspect. Moon is afflicted heavily by being placed in between Mars and Saturn. Mars being the fifth lord indicates that some past life issues may also be the cause of problems to the native. Moon under affliction also points at “Matri dosha” or trouble from the spirit of the mother or motherly ancestor.

c) Use of holy water or holy ash is very effective for spiritual problems of any kind. Sai devotees can use Sai Udi or Sai Vibhuti for such healing. Mixing a little Udi or Vibhuti in water makes effective holy water that can be used for any spiritual cure.
d) Apart from this, for permanent relief, Shraddha or last rites for deceased ancestors should be carried out. There are provisions for such Shraddha at Gaya, Nasik, Haridwar etc.
