The Saptashloki Durga is a careful selection of seven verses from Shri Durga Saptashati belonging to the Devi Mahatmya section of the Markandeya Puran. Verses have been selected keeping in mind their potency and are recommended by astrologers for chanting if situations in horoscopes so demand. The original verses are in Sanskrit in Devanagari Script which have been re-written in Roman script.
